Valo Wing is a recovering operatic soprano turned professional funeral singer. Their short fiction is published in Haven Speculative, Cosmic Horror Monthly, Dread Stone Press, and has been featured in two anthologies. Their flash fiction To Kneel at the Altar of Your Bones (Haven Speculative, Issue #8) was placed on the 2023 Nebula Awards recommended reading list. They are a 2021 Pitch Wars mentee and 2022 Futurescapes Writers’ Workshop alum. Valo is represented by Laura Bradford at Bradford Literary Agency. They enjoy indulging an obnoxious velvet blazer addiction, drinking too much champagne, and writing about unhinged lesbians. They currently live outside New York City.
